That somewhat makes sense.

However, gambas3-scripter depends on gambas3-runtime which includes the gb.gui* packages. Is it possible to use those gb.gui* 
packages in a non-gui environment? I don't know because I've never tried.

Also, it seems the gb.gui* packages would depend on at least one of the GUI packages in gambas3-gui. But, I can't tell because 
they are not mentioned in the Package list chart (showing dependencies) at the bottom of the page linked above.
