I suggests to use the one that is most complete and if needed improve on that and eliminate all others. This only creates confusion.
Then on the 'Topics' page in the 'Beginners' section link only that one.

Talking about that beginners section, I plan on doing a small reorder there like so:
- What is Gambas?
- Getting started with Gambas
- Starting Gambas for the first time (rewrite of How To Get Started)
- Learning topics (new index page with links to all relevant learning pages on the wiki as Benoit explained -> means replacing some pages)
- Naming conventions (remastered version)

Idea here is that when you start reading above page in order there is a flow from "What is Gambas?" to "Starting Gambas for the first time" in what you read. You first read 'What is Gambas?' to get a general idea, next dive into 'Getting started with Gambas'. Here you will learn about what Gambas best to use in your situation, where to find some learning materials and how to get help. On next page (now named 'How To Get Started') this flow is broken as it start with installing again and seems old content from many moons ago, as binaries from your distro are usualy the worst to use. Then it goes into starting IDE.

Maybe I should just create a new page here and link that one instead. All explained there is start the IDE for first time and have a look around.

So, once someone new has read all that they should have all basic info to get started. The additional links in the 'Beginner' section are teh Learning topics and Naming conventions. Maybe a few others should be added here (like some of the once Lee mentioned), so all is easily located at one place.

If someone would take up the remaster/consolidation of the naming conventions, taht would be nice. I'll see to start on the rewrite mentioned and once that is done I'll start moving some pages to path /learn with an index. Don't expect all this to be done today ;-)

Any other suggestion, needed addition, let me know while I'm at it, or add it yourself to where you think it fits best, either as a direct link in above 'Beginners' section or as link on the still to create 'Learning topics' index page.

At least there will be some better organized and updated information for people new to Gambas.
