Yes that was right but only for Thunderbird as the TB developers once decided to ignore 'Reply-To' from mailinglists. Before that <Ctrl-R> replied to the address defined in 'Reply-To'.
As a lot of mailinglist admins raged against that the developers introduced a new configuration variable 'mail.override_list_reply_to' which you had to set 'true' to get the old behavior back.
