This would be sth Benoît had to decide. We must be careful not to test a
special environment instead of the real things. Still I did not look at
the code ... so this is theoretical.

But from my personal view I would not do that in production test code.
Maybe it has unwanted implications on other tests?

Btw.: Can't $XDG_DATA_HOME be used?
