[Gambas-user] Packages for Ubuntu / Feisty

Because this is the first .deb I've ever built and I'm unaware of "debianized sources".

If you want to point me at some better /debian build files I'm all ears, but I couldn't find any which is why I started from scratch on Sunday ...

Just a silly question for the Ubuntu fans:
why, instead of reinventing once again the wheel, didn't you use the
debianized sources from
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/source/gambas2and compile them in
your
mephis/ubuntu/knoppix/put_here_any_other_whatever_debian_based/cloned_distro?

You would have got deb binaries for your box that have been deeply tested
and would not get new problems that were fixed when doing debian gambas
packages first time, more than three years ago...
