Benoit and all the rest of us who have contributed code own the 
copyright on Gambas, but copyright and trademark are two different 
things.

Getting a copyright is free.... in the US, since 1976, it 
automatically happens when you create the work.  Getting a trademark, 
on the other hand, is quite expensive.
