Thanks for the link. I'll try to find the PDF.

If I misunderstood the "GridView_Data" idea I have to apologize.

Do you mean that only those thumbnails of pages are rendered which are 
visible in the list of previews? I can imagine that this could 
accelerate the app. This would require to determine what pages are 
visible in the list (a ListView in my case) and possibly one or more 
pages beyond the most upper and most lower page to avoid visible lacks 
of thumbnails loading/generation.
