Thank you GianLuigi. This did get me a step closer.

I did a Meld compare of your and my LinuxMint xlm and there is hardly any difference.

I think the main problem is in the version. I'm version 7.2, you are on 8.2. I think that's where the problem lies, my version being to old.

I'll see if I can find a more recent version for Debian 12 and give that a try.
