Maybe I should do the same for 'autoconf' and other optional dependencies in the IDE package?

Yes. If a dependency is optional it should be specified as Recommends so the user has the option to install or not.

I should clarify that.

When a package is installed, the default behavior of `zypper` is to also install its recommended packages. The user would have the option to NOT install the Recommends by using a command-line switch.

The only Qt6 development package I find in the output is 'qt6-base-common-devel'. I am trying to follow the dependencies upward to find which dependency of gambas3 caused it to be installed. But, I am beginning to think that zypper's dependency solver is broken.
