[Gambas-user] Issue trying to use fbi/fbv via SHELL command on non X terminal

I knocked up a simple C program and used posix_spawn this worked aok.
I added in ncurses to it and got the
   ioctl VT_GETSTATE: Inappropriate ioctl for device (not a linux console?)
as I got from simple Gambas command line (non ncurses) so I'm guessing 
there is no easy sol to this.
I did read some articles about similar issues with ssh and a workaround 
using tty2, but haven't tried to get my head round that, and if it could 
be usable or not.
