The other problem with PostgreSQL is that you have to quote field or table names as soon as they are defined in upper case. Otherwise PostgreSQL seems to convert them to lower case.

"Quoting an identifier also makes it case-sensitive, whereas unquoted names are always folded to lower case." says the PostgreSQL documentation.

It seems weird to me, but it would explain the errors you get.
