Did you carefully uninstall Gambas 3.6.2 before compiling the 
development version?

Because gb.net.smtp is now written entirely in Gambas. So if you keep 
the old gb.net.smtp.so shared library on your system, the interpreter 
will try to load it and you will get crashes.
