Column view - remains my most unfavorite control for its odd quirky 
behaviors.

Check out this one.

If you fill a columnview - then select all items or some items, then 
clear the columnview  then fill again - the original columnview 
selections are maintained even if the list is different/re-filled

Most bizaare! see project attached.
