It should be:
$ LANG=C ./app
but I'm not sure. What you do is not TheRightWay though. What I do is
writing all the strings of the application in English, and then translate
them to Italian, or whatever language. This way, anyone can contribute to any of
my projects, not only Italian-speaking people :)
