I hope not be the only one, Benoit, but I don't agree what you say.

I've been working as programmer some years ago, working with databases
almost all the time.

I discovered Gambas (for serendipity) some years ago when I was looking
for an easy programming language for develop real applications in Linux,
first for myself, and now, for my job (somebody there is talking about
migration).
I found Mono, I tried it and I had some problems with Monodevelop. I
tried Gambas and it was succesful: it works fine, and each new version
is a solid milestone, as I see.
