Hi Ron, hi Daniel,
thank you for your quick help. I followed  Ron's advise. The bin-file I 
have loaded  first (curl-7.11.2-2suse82.i686.rpm) needs the "-lcares" 
and so I have loaded now the source, compiled it and it works.
