Yes, the RFC just says "in human readable format", but does not specify anything. The other option, NLIST, just provides the name of files, but I can't now if it is a file, a folder or any other thing. Other ftp clients like Mozilla or GFtp does what i'm gonna do: they can parse five or six common formats, (and they add a note in the README if anybody wants to inform about a new format:-)

I'm trying to uderstand gFTP parser in the sources, but it would be more fast if I could see real examples...
