[Gambas-user] only starts as root

I am running RH 8.0.
I compiled Gambas.

Gambas starts fine as root, but as a user I get this error.

[ed at ...144... ed]$

I checked "troubleshooting", and it mentions that "You must define a
startup class in the project properties dialog", but does not tell you
how to do that or where to find out how to do that. 

Is this the problem, and if so where can I find the answer?
