But, as Bruce said, the button must be disabled in that case, as 'ReadOnly' set means that the value of the SpinBox cannot be changed from the user interface.

As for the GTK+3 cursor, it's a GTK+ feature. Read-only text fields still display a cursor when they have the focus, but in a non-flashing way.
