do you get different results running as a compiled executable rather than using the IDE debugger?

have you checked the theme settings in the different gambas IDE preferences are the same?

PS. are you sure they are both using either gtk3 or qt5 as both your examples not only show different icons but different window border/button styles also.

you can check the toolkit/theme your gb.gui application is using at runtime with the following ...

Print Env["GB_GUI"], Style.Name
