- I update the 'xdg-utils' scripts to the current master of their git repository.

- I replaced DesktopPortal.Available property by Desktop.Enabled.

- If you set DesktopPortal.Enabled to False explicitly, then the 'xdg-utils' scripts will be always used.

Can you try it and tell me if fixes your problem?
