Description
-----------

IDE is no longer able to start most terminal emulators, when they are correctly installed on the host system.

If the IDE is being used to test an application across different terminal emulators.
In most cases it is unable to start the emulator and just exits reporting an exit code of 1
with no error indicating what happened.

Default shell is bash.

The following emulators work from the list configurable in the IDE TOOLS menu Help & Applications
Konsole


The following emulators fail despite being correctly installed. 
The IDE display exited with error 1 with no explanation.

Default - selection on Mate
Gnome terminal, starts and immediately exits or hangs
Mate Terminal will not start
XFCE terminal will not start
lx terminal will not start
xterm will not start
