Yeah, this looks to be an issue with qt. When I run gambas3 on Fedora 33 (on Wayland) like this:

QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb gambas3

It works as expected. When I run it without that environment variable setting, it segfaults:

gambas3
QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I think you can close this out if you want, I do not believe Gambas is to blame.
