Can you post your project? I still don't understand why it uses a QT component by default.

When using gb.gui component, the rule is the following:
- If $GB_GUI is defined with the component to use, use it.
- Otherwise if $KDE_FULL_SESSION is defined, then use one of the QT components.
- Otherwise, use one of the GTK components.

So you should not use a QT component by default.
