Cheers Lee
I've submitted a fix that issues Wait 0.1 if the Form has to open by the
FBalloon.class like this...
Dim bClosed As Boolean
If Not hWin.Modal Then
bClosed = hWin.Closed
hWin.Show
if bClosed Then Wait 0.1
Endif
So it works if the window is not opened (in my case the balloon was a
message on startup that cancelled startup)
But the following code would give the same problem..
f = new Form
f.Show
Balloon(sMessage, f)
To avoid an issue the following would be required...
f = new Form
Balloon(sMessage, f)
Or this...
f = new Form
f.Show
Wait 0.1
Balloon(sMessage, f)
To make it work in all cases it would need to call Wait 0.1 in any case
like my first suggested fix
If Not hWin.Modal Then
hWin.Show
Wait 0.1
Endif
That completely fixes it for me in all the previously posted shell tests.
But to quote Benoit "Using Wait to fix a problem is usually never a good
idea"
So i've left it for his approval / disapproval.
Respects
