So, in short what Benoit told him to do does nothing.

Still, a stripped down project might help others determine why Benoît's advice appears to do nothing. or at least confirm that. But perhaps Benoît already has it figured out.



Once GDK_SYNCHRONIZE is set to 1, the X11 error is triggered exactly when the bad X11 request is made. Otherwise it is triggered later.

Then it's a matter of identifying the line of code that triggers the X11 error.

As I already asked, he must provide a project that reproduces the bug, and I will track it for him. How can I guess what does exactly his project without seeing it???
