Well, he's only asking how HE can debug the problem that is occurring when using gb.desktop, nothing more nothing less.
Benoit said to add the environment variable for that, but that doesn't provide any other details than those already provided without the environment set.
So, in short what Benoit told him to do does nothing.

Hence the simple question, did he not set the environment properly? Does it not have to be set in his Project properties -> Environment tab?
Does an environment variable needed to debug gb.desktop even have effect on gb.desktop if it is set in the project using said gb.desktop?
Just some questions that pop up in my head.

It is clearly that something in the gb.desktop interface between gambas and x11 is throwing the error and the set environment doesn't pass details on what is causing it.
