I was curious what this is all about and I must say, I do miss the search result tab popping up. I now have to to make it visible myself.

I, and I guess most of us, are used to it pooping up automatically when performing a search. I seldom want to run through all search results one by one, but I'm mostly looking for a result in a specific part of my total code. So the search result opening is where my main attention is.

It is kind a like console popping up when running an application in gambas-ide. It ensures that debug output can be seen while running the project (that does happen automatically, right, or did I configure it so?). It is just more practical and save a lot of extra unneeded click.

So, I have to agree with Christof. But for the rest the new search look very good and it does the job just fine.
