On Debian 12 Bookworm Cinnamon I got a slightly different b/w variant of the emojis.Could this possibly depend on the QT version (5.13.8 on my old Mint 20.3)? Anyway, I now have enough facts to make decisions for my email client. Thanks to all for your support. Claus
It may be more complex: it may depend on the font, on freetype and/or harfbuzz library (I don't know if these libraries are bundled inside Qt, or if the system libraries are used).
