It is version control. I complained about this before and Ben added an option to disable it. In the preferences either disable version control or de-select the "Automatically revert non important files" option. This seems Silly Ben and has been an issue for a number of people. I think the "do not revert" should be the default. Having it automatically revert your version changes without you knowing why should not be the default, also I think it should be project specific not a global setting. then you could set it as the default for the IDE but i think most people have no use for it automatically reverting changes.
