Re: HTTP/HTTPS embedded web server

Hello,

Thank you for the answer but I was in mind to use the little library as embedded web server to replace the existing one in Gambas currently.

Benoît will know about what I’m taking.
The goal is to have a real web server embedded for production case.

For now, as I understood, the current embedded web server is only for debug, is part of the wonderful module of gb.web.gui and can not be separated.

I think this is really a shame to not be able to push a project built with gb.web.gui in production, and just use it for little personal usage.

I see so many potential with this component.

Olivier

It is possible to call that library from Gambas with external declarations...it seems if you would rather use that webserver you could do that with a few hours of work....

Hi Benoit,

Just quick question regarding the embedded Web server in Gambas, do you think this kind of library in C++ could be a better candidate for that ?

There is a lot of examples into the repo.

Thank you
