Re: [Gambas-user] M/L replying to users email not the list

Hmm, if you hit Reply in gmail, you get the original user email, if
you hit Reply to all, you get the original in TO: and the list email
in CC:. You have to delete the user email and drag the list email
    from CC: to To:.

I confirm the problem. On some other lists "reply" and "reply to all" both put only the email address of the list to the TO field.

Just tested.

I have no chance to apply the "Reply-To: <user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>"-header in Mlmmj. The old Mailman2 software was a bit smarter.

If I do that I must remove every "Reply-To:"-header set by an user with the "delheaders" option of Mlmmj. But then Mlmmj also consequently(?) removes the "From:"-header and the mailinglist is unusable.

That's no way.

If I don't remove the "Reply-To:"-header set by an user we have two "Reply-To:"-headers in some mail and there is at minimum one provider that bounces those mails: Gmail.

Gmail users, is "Smart reply" a solution?

Apart from that, I can't find anything else at the moment.

Gmail users, tell the admins, that they should support this header:
"Mail-Reply-To: <user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>"

Alles Gute
