Aah , not so simple then :(

I finally have it working like this...
line 30 sh.highlight

expansion{Expansion}:
  match /\$[A-Za-z0-9_]+/
  limit
  keyword function
  limit
  from /\s*\(\)/

with that it's working for all function lines in my bash script with a mixture of all 3 mentioned function methods
the only issue is anything like a comment after the function name highlights.

see attached image. the limit/expand marks are all correct. just a bit of highlighting mess.

do you think it is bad/unreliable?
