No crash here on openSUSE Leap 15.5 (KDE Plasma desktop) and with Lazarus 2.2.4 in multi-window mode.

I ran it from the IDE and also from a created executable.

BTW, you might want to have your app check to see if it is already running so as to not add yet another entry in the sys-tray.
