With GB_GUI='gb.gtk3' it happens.
With GB_GUI='gb.qt5' it does not happen.

It's not only 'Ctrl' but every shortcut fails. After I execute the
project one time (hit 'Run' with the mouse), the shortcuts work afterwards.

I have no idea what you mean with "check the input method".
