Ups, sorry, you are right ... but:

Your code makes about 1400 ms for *one* round while the others need
about 2400 ms for *500* rounds. So the regexp code does not change
anything ...

And that nice program is the Gambas profiler you find in the IDE in the
'Debug' menu.
