[Gambas-user] Running multiple versions of Gambas and or use of --program-suffix

I have reasons for wanting to be able to have the version of Gambas as 
installed from distribution repo as well as maybe a couple of other 
versions of Gambas built from source. Is it possible to use something 
like  --program-suffix to build each version from source so from console 
instead of gambas3 for current repo version, I could, if desired use 
e.g. gambas3.13  and or gambas3.14 to run built from source versions of? 
And is that applied at make or make install stage?
