The question is not "why not", it's "when is going to be ready for use" ;)

Saldy I'm the only one doing all the graphics and functional part, so 
it's going to take a while. Martin Belmonte is doing the GUI and file 
I/O, and we got help from the guy maintaining LibreDWG so we are going 
to have support for up to 2019 DWG/DXF wich is current I beleive.
