Yes that helped. I hope it's trivial but following the examples I would 
like the content to be like:

<kontakte>
     <kontakt>
         <vorname>Arno</vorname>
         <nachname>Adler</nachname>

BUT it is being saved like:

<kontakte>
     <kontakt>
         <vorname>
         Arno
         </vorname>
         <nachname>
         Adler
         </nachname>
