[Gambas-user] Why select "create menu entry"?

It tells the installer to create a '*.desktop' file at the accurate 
place in your home directory so that your desktop application menu gets 
a new entry for launching your program.

As the DesktopFile was buggy, the creation of the desktop file fails 
miserably.
