Piccoro, sorry for my previous information. Something was missing.
In fact, both versions work the same:












*  strinchar = "test )after)r"    positionlen = (InStr(strinchar, ")", -1)
- 1)    Print strinchar    Print positionlen    strinchar = Mid(strinchar,

Both print  "test )after"
