[Gambas-user] new QT5 ?no rich text processor - hence gambas problem for us

Dear List,

I just forwarded the gambas email to my german doctor friend who uses 
our software - he's a pretty good programmer himself, used to do it as a 
job in a previous life and he says this:


On the contrary -QT5 has a far superior rich text processing feature. 
Unfortunately, it is not backwards compatible but a simple wrapper could 
make it so (while sacrificing most of tge new brilliant features)

Does this mean gambas will be able to use this new control?

    Without this  the central core of EasyGP comes to a grinding halt.
    No more automatically creating our progress notes in html, no more
    inserting pictures, no more inserting inumerated fancy problem lists
    which auto-shuffle as you insert lines etc.

    This is a major disaster for us.
