The bug seems to be already fixed. There is still a problem with the year when you
open the DateBox popup: it seems to not be taken into account, and the calendar always
open on the current year. Maybe it is related to the native nepali digits, I don't know yet.
But this is another problem.

Please try the development version, or wait for the 3.8.2 release. And then reopen a bug
if you are not still satisfied with the DateBox behaviour.
