Happened here, too. IIRC, I could just minimise the IDE window and bringt it
back up again. Then the mouse worked.

I also noted that Ctrl+Backspace doesn't delete whole words anymore.
Yesterday -- when I caught up on lots of Gambas business -- I noticed just
how often I use this combination :-)
