Strange. For me it works as follows:

 1. Unpack the archive.tar.gz from Sean,
 2. Open that project,
 3. Project -> Patch -> Apply,
 4. Applies cleanly.

Did you do that? The patch may not apply if you changed the code base
yourself too heavily.
