Maybe you should learn what an "environmental variable" is? :-)

Anyway, GB_GUI is just there for debugging. If you need gb.qt4, just 
check it. You check gb.gui only if you want gb.qt4 on KDE/Trinity and 
gb.gtk on other desktops.
