I can't reproduce your problem. Everything is fine there.

Can you trace your small project with gdb as explained in the "Reporting 
a problem" page of the web site? And send me the backtrace of the crash. 
And eventually run the same project with valgrind and send me the result?

I think it comes from the Qt on your system, but I can't be sure without 
the backtrace.
