Here is a fix in revision #4475:

Now project that will be used as libraries define their requirements  
exactly like components (the "project is a component or a library" option  
must be checked in the project property dialog).

Then the IDE takes these requirements into account when adding a library in  
the project property dialog, exactly like components.
