I think it is. The diff2 tries to fix the problem, but the creator deleted  
both the prefix and DESTDIR variables. One at least must be used, as the  
ideal situation is where the user can change the location when executing  
make prefix=/my/path install.

In this case, I think the prefix variable should still be used, but set to  
an empty string, so the default path get's fixed and the option to change  
the prefix is left intact.
