No, I mean doing:

   $ make "CFLAGS=-O0 -g" "CXXFLAGS=-O0 -g"

instead of just "make". That way, you don't have to run ./configure again.

And you can use "valgrind" to get more useful information. How to use  
valgrind is explained on the "Reporting a problem" page of the website.
